The city has been running the vacation camp on Neuwerk for over 60 years. The classification as a commercial operation in accordance with the German Corporation Tax Act made it necessary to adjust the existing fee schedule.

The committee also approved the conclusion of a "Zukunftsregion SüdOstNiedersachsen" cooperation agreement and the funding of the youth workshop at the SOS Mothers' Center for 2023. The city parliament was informed about the wastewater disposal tax statutes and the 2022 census.
