The play, which will be performed in the stables of Gebhardshagen moated castle, is a comedy by Ingo Sax in Low German.

It's Friday evening and Manni has the night off: his wife is at her mother-in-law's, his buddies have canceled their weekly skat round, so everything points to a relaxed evening after work - wonderful! But then suddenly the doorbell rings and a horde of good-humored ladies storm the apartment: Manni's wife has planned a sales party and...forgotten all about it! However, the absence of the lady of the house doesn't stop the crowd from staying, because without further ado, the man of the house is appointed "lady of honor" and has to replace the hostess. To the great amusement of the audience, Manni, who is taken by surprise and at times overwhelmed, learns a lot about his own wife, husbands in general, cocktails, kitchen appliances and lingerie.
