The containers provided by the SRB are equipped with a transponder that records the individual emptying of the waste container on the waste collection vehicle. The number of empties forms the basis for the billing of waste disposal fees.

The old transponder is replaced with a new one on those containers where this is possible. In the case of permanently installed and riveted transponders on the comb bar of the waste container, the entire container must be replaced.

The replacement of the respective transponders or, if necessary, the entire waste garbage can, is carried out by SRB employees.
This is done free of charge. The new bin number is automatically registered for the property and the old number is deregistered. No further action needs to be taken by the property owners.
