Statista - New database of the Salzgitter City Library - Ideal for pupils and students

Holders of a valid library card can now use Statista's extensive statistics database free of charge.

This further benefit of membership represents a significant step towards strengthening the educational sector in the city and providing everyone with access to valuable information.

Deputy Library Director Barbara Henning says: "I am convinced that this new resource will make a valuable contribution to the promotion of knowledge and education in the city of Salzgitter."

Statista is a renowned statistics database that offers over one million statistics on more than 80,000 topics from 170 sectors. With references to 22,500 sources, Statista offers a wide range of information, including market forecasts and scientific publications.

The free use of Statista with a library card is particularly interesting for school and university students, as the database provides a wide range of content that can be used for presentations, homework or research papers, for example, as a reliable research tool.

The advantages of Statista are manifold. Access to a wealth of verified and up-to-date statistics that can support students in their academic work and underpin their research findings. There is also the option of accessing market forecasts, which enables students to gain a comprehensive understanding of current economic and social developments.
