Salzgitter

Dignified and entertaining presentation of the funding decisions

On Tuesday, August 15, the time had come: 90 clubs and associations received the official funding notifications from the Endlager Konrad Stiftungsgesellschaft.

The event was hosted by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel, who was unfortunately unable to attend this evening for urgent personal reasons. The members of the Board of Trustees Frank Miska, Thomas Huppertz, Clemens Löcke and Gernot Eilers, representing the federal government, and the Managing Director duo Simone Kessner and Rainer Dworog were present with funding certificates totaling around two million euros. A big thank you went to this year's host, the Salzgitter Sailing Club. Harbour master Karl-Heinrich Krause and his team worked hard to ensure that around 150 guests enjoyed a great summer evening and experienced the event as it was intended: a sign of appreciation for an amazing long-term voluntary commitment to the community!

Simone Kessner and Rainer Dworog welcomed the guests with words of appreciation on behalf of Chairman Frank Klingebiel and the entire Board of Trustees: "Today you, the volunteers from the clubs and associations, are officially receiving your approval for the funding you have applied for from the Konradfonds. Thank you for ensuring that our city has been, is and remains lively, active and attractive with your voluntary work in a wide variety of areas. Our special thanks today also go to Harbour Master Karl-Heinrich Krause, who, together with his dedicated team, organized this fantastic event in an outstanding manner."
