The General Data Protection Regulation came into force in May 2018. It caused great uncertainty among many private individuals, associations and companies. We now have practical experience, but also the first court rulings and fines. Which regulations have proven their worth? The course provides basic data protection knowledge and tried-and-tested tips. Participants will learn how to integrate the requirements of the GDPR into their association or company in an easy and understandable way.

The course "General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Practice - General Introduction" will take place on Tuesday, May 9, from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. at the Volkshochschule in Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a). The course costs 21 euros.

The lecturer is a certified data protection and information security officer.
