In order to achieve the climate targets of the Paris Climate Agreement, the electricity grid is being expanded - including in Salzgitter. Participants are given an overview of the impact of renewable energies and the consequences of the nuclear and coal phase-out. The increasing share of renewable energies and changing consumer behavior require a more flexible energy system. During the presentation, participants will learn how it has worked so far, what new lines are needed and how it will work in the future. A discussion round is planned afterwards.
