The guide provides a compact overview of the help available in Salzgitter and the region for people with mental illness/disabilities seeking help and their relatives. It lists clinics, contact points for medical care, advice and contact points, outpatient and day-care services as well as special forms of housing, self-help groups and services for children and young people. The focus is on help, advice, support, treatment and care.
The guide was compiled by the Psychiatry Section of the Social Psychiatric Association of the City of Salzgitter and is updated annually.
