City rally in Salzgitter - there are prizes to be won

The city library and Wohnbau Salzgitter are inviting all age groups to take part in an "original city rally" on World Book Day from Tuesday, April 23.

The task: find a quote from Astrid Lindgren.

A short tour through the respective town centers of Lebenstedt and Bad leads to prominent places where one of the words of the quote is written on a clearly visible poster - but watch out, the letters on the poster have been mixed up.

Of course, there is also something to be won - there are small prizes just for taking part and there will also be a draw for numerous attractive prizes among all those who have found the correct solution.

The winners will be informed and will receive their prizes by arrangement.

The entry forms will be available from April 23 at the city libraries during opening hours or online (see below) and at https://www.wohnbau-salzgitter.de/de/aktuelles/meldungen/CityRallye.php. (opens in a new tab) Further information is also listed there.

The route sheets list the locations where one of the solution words is written on a clearly visible spot (e.g. store windows), which when put together make up the solution set.

The city rally lasts until May 11, and the sheets with the hopefully correct solution must be received by the city library by May 15.

The idea was born out of the search for a family-friendly and intergenerational campaign for World Book Day.

"We are doing this campaign because the scavenger hunt adventure is great fun and we are happy to see everyone who is interested in stories and reading," say the initiators Petra Stürmer from Wohnbau Salzgitter and Barbara Henning from Salzgitter City Library.
