Foto-AG "Bildwerk" invites you to the exhibition opening

The photo group "Bildwerk" of the Volkshochschule (VHS) of the city of Salzgitter invites you to the opening of the exhibition "Vergessenes" on Monday, September 23, at 7 pm in the Kniestedter Herrenhaus in Salzgitter-Bad (Braunschweigische Straße 137a). Interested parties are invited.

Forgotten things by Marcus Nordmeyer.

Content: Forgetting is the loss of memory. People forget continuously over time, whereby the speed and extent of forgetting depend on many factors, including interest, emotionality and the importance of the information or object. The exact function of forgetting is largely unexplained.

The photo working group "Bildwerk" rediscovers the forgotten and invites visitors to reflect on their own forgetting.

In the exhibition, the photographers present and explain their different techniques and approaches.

The Bildwerk photo working group (AG) is a working group for committed amateur photographers who want to expand their skills beyond the basics. The focus is on taking photographs together. Photo excursions in the immediate or wider surroundings, studio photography as well as experimental work on new themes and techniques are part of the photo work group. The results are discussed in the group.
Particular emphasis is placed on the further development of image design, technical implementation and creativity. The members support each other by exchanging tips and suggestions as well as technical and practical advice on all aspects of photography and the associated technology.

The exhibition can be seen until December 31, 2024 during the opening hours of the Volkshochschule in the Kniestedter Herrenhaus (Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm; Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm).
