The group of eight meets in Salzgitter in advance to plan the program together. This allows the participants to contribute their own ideas and develop their own research.

They then travel by train from Germany via Belgium to France during the fall vacations. Most of the overnight stays will be in youth hostels.

One special feature will be a visit to the twin town of Créteil in France. The group will be welcomed by the friendly Comité de Jumelage and given a guided tour of the town. From Créteil, the group will continue on to Paris, as the center of the French capital is only a few metro stops away from the twin city.

The project offers all participants a unique opportunity to get to know new people, encounter different languages and spend an exciting and enjoyable time together as a group.

The trip, which is part of the international youth work of the City of Salzgitter's Municipal Children and Youth Development Department, will take place during the fall break from October 5 to 10. Young people between the ages of 16 and 20 can register. A waiting list will be set up. The trip costs 70 euros. An educational specialist will accompany the group.
