Bestselling author reads from her debut novel

Claudia Schaumann, bestselling author and successful blogger and Instagrammer, will be reading from her humorous and turbulent debut novel "Sommer ist meine Liebelingsfarbe" (Summer is my favorite color) on Thursday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lebenstedt City Library.

Synopsis: Ava is 43 and has everything she's ever dreamed of: a great husband, three adorable children, four chickens and a beautiful house in Hamburg Vierlanden, just behind the dyke.

Nevertheless, she has been asking herself more and more often recently whether that is all there is to it and whether she is really happy. Or has she taken a wrong turn somewhere? When she unexpectedly receives a message from her ex-boyfriend Pinto, it throws her everyday life into turmoil...

About the author: Claudia Schaumann, born in 1977, worked as an editor for major daily newspapers and magazines after completing her traineeship. During her second parental leave, she founded the blog "Was für mich", which is now one of the largest German blog magazines. She has four children, runs a very successful Instagram channel alongside the blog and writes books for children and adults.
