The "Word Painters" will present their contributions to "Das Haus am Elm" on Saturday, April 20, in the Lebenstedt City Library from 3 pm.
The "Word Painters" are a creative group of painters, writers and musicians from the region.
First just a drawing, then a book: "Das Haus im Elm" contains poems, stories and 100-word drabbles as a joint project by the "Word Painters" about a fictitious building in the Elm forest. The audience will hear imaginative and profound excerpts from Martina Bethe-Hartwig, Karin Bottke, Uwe Brackmann, Eva Ehmke, Brigitte Festerling and Renate Wieland, bringing the house to life in their minds' eye.
"I am very much looking forward to being able to present this interesting group of artists," says Deputy Library Director Barbara Henning. "We want to offer interesting readings and activities several times a year on a Saturday afternoon as a cultural enrichment for those interested."
Coffee, tea and cake will be provided by the Bibliotheksgesellschaft e.V.
Admission to the event is free. Please register by calling 05341/839 3434, 839 2082 or sending an email to stadtbibliothekstadt.salzgitterde
The premiere on April 6 in the Salzgitter-Bad city library was a complete success.
