In 2011, the municipal education project "Sprache und Sprechen Leben" was launched by Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel. The aim is to provide equal opportunities and education for children in terms of personal development.
In order to document how the 50 daycare centers in Salzgitter implement this process of day-to-day integrated language education and support in practice, the day-to-day work was scientifically examined. In the process, the daycare centers documented a process for day-to-day integrated language education and language support using a wide variety of methods.
Presentation event for the municipal education project
On Friday, February 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the results of this current evaluation will be presented in the large hall of the Catholic Family Education Center at Saldersche Straße 3 in Lebenstedt.
The event was organized in cooperation between the City of Salzgitter's daycare centre advisory service, the auditors Susanne Standke and Melanie Hönig and the daycare centres, in particular the language multiplication staff.
It is aimed at a specialist audience from Salzgitter, such as daycare center providers, daycare centers, family centers, daycare providers, network partners from the education sector and early help, as well as experts from the city administration and other interested parties.
It will provide answers to the questions: "What does the implementation of the project look like in reality in kindergartens? How, when and how is everyday integrated language education and language support actually implemented and what does everyday integrated actually mean?
The event offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with the language multipliers. The auditors Susanne Standke and Melanie Hönig as well as the municipal daycare center consultants and language multipliers from daycare centers in Salzgitter will welcome the participants, accompany them if necessary and provide answers to the questions of the expert audience.
