Council meeting on June 12

The marketing of the Fredenberg West development area in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt was approved by the Salzgitter City Council at its meeting on 12.06.2024.

The city of Salzgitter will sell 32 building plots for the construction of detached and semi-detached houses in the 1st section of the 3rd construction phase. The plots are between 523 m² and 1,320 m² in size. Furthermore, the refurbishment of the auditorium at St. Michael's elementary school, school development planning and the establishment of two new courses of study at BBS Fredenberg were approved.

As part of the further development of Salzgittersee, two measures were initiated in the further course of the agenda. The path between the parking lot at the Stadtbad and the toilet facilities near the pirate playground will be equipped with lighting. An orientation board similar to the one near the Stadtbad will be installed in front of the south-western end of the Inselbrücke bridge.

The administration is already in the process of refreshing or adding sand to the beach sections.
