It may, should, can and must be laughed at. The audience can look forward to a fantastic mix of cabaret and comedy.
The evening will be hosted by the good-humored Ole Lehmann, who started his comedy career over 30 years ago in the recently opened "Quatsch Comedy Club" in Hamburg and is now once again taking his funniest comedy acts out of the closet, dusting them off and bringing them to the stage in new splendor.
He has invited the following guests:
Jonas Greiner
Jonas Greiner - topical, intelligent and uproariously funny. He convinces with his unmistakable way of combining pointed, ironic social criticism and funny everyday stories with top-class and refreshing humor. Greiner may not be able to relieve anyone who has recently experienced stress, anger, arguments or a bout of gout, but he certainly puts a smile on their face and makes them forget the difficulties of everyday life.
How does that work? By taking a humorous approach to pretty much everything that happens around him in his stories. And he takes his audience on a journey through Germany and the world, through the here and now and the circumstances of the time when everyone else is just arguing.
Matthias Brodowy
Matthias Brodowy is a classic artist: a hypochondriac who expects some kind of super disaster to befall him in the next second. In case of doubt, a dinosaur-like meteorite impact. And that is precisely why he believes that there is definitely no time for pessimism. Sounds contradictory? At most as contradictory as life itself. But it's actually the only chance to turn things around. Because burying your head in the sand is definitely not breathable! So why not give the apocalypse a leg up and simply take action? With a smile on your face, because it would be a shame to leave the world to people you can never please anyway. And then? Confetti! Biodegradable.
Brodowy has been performing on the cabaret stage since 1989, was discovered and promoted by Hanns-Dieter Hüsch and has received numerous cabaret awards, including the "Schwarze Schaf", the "Prix Pantheon" and the German Cabaret Award.
HG Butzko
HG.Butzko, the brain pacemaker of German cabaret, who started doing cabaret 25 years ago, now dares to take a look at the reminders of the last quarter of a century and it turns out that it is time to take stock and settle accounts with the tricksters and deceivers, the blind and the deceivers, the elected and the voters, the butchers and the calves. And that's why the Gelsenkirchen brain pacemaker of German cabaret once again sheds light on all the lies, cover-ups and false promises of the last 25 years in politics, business and the media. Well, not all of them, because then the program would last four days.
With a unique mixture of entertainment and depth, brutally funny and at times contemplative, polemical, philosophical, provocative, Hans-Günther Butzko discovers the maliciousness out of the blue and the comic in life's catastrophes. And this is one of the reasons why his fan base grows from performance to performance, because an evening with him is always a celebration of humanity in inhuman times.
Vera Deckers
As a psychologist, Vera Deckers observes her environment and it seems as if the narcissists have taken over: Packaging is more important than content. Attention is the global currency. Only those who are online still exist - and the loudest wins. Helicopter parents think sugar is the new heroin. Teenagers toil as influencers in the YouTube open pit.
Self-optimizers count steps, burps and night-time snoring. Such times create self-doubt: can cabaret be in tune with the times if you don't even have a heart rate monitor? But the trained psychologist also finds reassuring things. Scientific studies prove it: Occasional drinkers live longer than people who don't drink alcohol at all!
