Best marksmen and markswomen honored: Stadtkönigsproklamation 2024

Yesterday, Sunday, September 29, Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel invited guests to the traditional annual proclamation of the City Shooting Queen, the City Shooting King, the City Youth King or Queen and the City Schoolboy King.

In addition to Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel and District Shooting Association President Matthias Hackbarth, District Shooting Director Michael Tomaschek, Deputy Chairman of the District Sports Association Daniel Michalski and numerous representatives of the council and local councils were on hand to honor these special sporting successes, which took place in the Fürstensaal at Schloss Salder.

In his welcoming address, Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel emphasized: "Thank you to all our shooting sisters and brothers for their outstanding commitment. Our shooting clubs are a sporting and cultural anchor for the city districts and for the whole of Salzgitter and an integral part of the city's society."

The City King Shoot took place on the morning of September 29 at the Flora Shooting Club in Lebenstedt. All majesties of the 23 Salzgitter shooting clubs were able to take part.

The winners of this year's town king shooting competition are

  • City pupil queen 2024: Marie Isabell Arnemann, Sauingen shooting club
  • City youth queen 2024: Josephina Tabea Sonnenburg, Thiede shooting club
  • City King 2024: Hartmut Hille, Ringelheim Shooting Guild
  • City queen 2024: Wiebke Schröder, Thiede shooting club
