In the latest episode, Petra Strobach, local heritage curator in Flachstöckheim, tells the story of an old tree and a huge estate park. The story began with the von Schwicheldts, who lived in idyllic Salzgitter-Flachstöckheim and were granted the right to use the estate in 1350. Today, only the remains of old walls remind us of its former splendor.

In the midst of this historic ambience stands an old lime tree, which not only watches over past eras, but is also the site of numerous childhood memories - a place full of stories waiting to be discovered.
