The organizers are the city of Salzgitter, the municipal "Youth in the Community" team, the municipal youth welfare service in criminal proceedings, the municipal office coordination, the Ditib community, the Salzgitter Wolfenbüttel Peine police inspection, the Martin Luther family center, the Diakonie coordination office, the "Start.Punkt" district meeting point, the educational heroes and Heimat Salzgitter.

Residents of the Lebenstedt district of Berliner Straße as well as from all over Salzgitter are invited.

Visitors can expect a colorful range of activities on the topic of tolerance, such as an exhibition of chairs on the topic of "My place in society", a game on the topic of education, trying on typical clothing worn by members of the Islamic religion, a discussion on the topic of tolerance and much more.

The aim of the event is to sensitize visitors to topics relating to tolerance and to create a place and an opportunity for people from different walks of life to meet.
