Salzgitter

All good things come in threes

Music and children's theater: The City of Salzgitter's cultural department invites you to three events in February.

Henrik Freischlader and his band present their new album on February 9.

Henrik Freischlader will be presenting his new band and his new album "Bring Back The Time" on Friday, February 9 (8 p.m., Kniestedter Kirche in Salzgitter-Bad) . Fans can look forward to intense concerts. It will be rockier again and, of course, a little louder than on the Internet.

The classic blues rock quartet consists of drums, bass, Hammond organ, guitar and vocals and you can look forward to seeing old friends. In addition to the new songs, you can also request your favorite songs after such a long break.

Well-known and popular in Salzgitter: Hiss

Popular and well-known: Hiss has many fans in Salzgitter and will be performing on Saturday, February 24 (8 p.m., Kniestedter Kirche in Salzgitter-Bad) under the title "Überall Daheim".

After 2,798 concerts, nine records and countless awards, Hiss' music is still fresh, their performances are still full of power and their lyrics are a declaration of love for humor and life. The audience can look forward to waltzes and blues, folk and ska, polka and roll.

"Antonio and Pino" can be seen on February 18.

Children of all ages (from 4 years) can look forward to Sunday, February 18. From 3 p.m. (Kniestedter Kirche), the Neumond puppet theater invites you to the play "Antonio and Pino" with live music.

The story: Antonio, an elderly man who has long dreamed of owning his own circus, lives alone in a small house with a garden on the outskirts of the city.

Pino, a 6-year-old boy, has recently moved into the neighborhood with his parents. His parents have little time for him and so he increasingly wanders the streets alone and ponders: How long is 5 minutes? What can you do to combat boredom? And: Why do dad and mom have so little time for me?

Maybe life as a dog is more fun? Pino makes himself a dog costume and meets Antonio at the garden fence. And so it is that the old man with his dream and the questioning Pino go on a journey together and discover their very own circus world...

The play Antonio and Pino focuses on the perception of children; the perception of a society in which time is the greatest commodity and at the same time the most valuable resource.
