The cell phone is no longer just a phone, but rather a computer for your pocket. Tablets work just as well as notebooks, but are much handier. Appointment planner, e-mail and Internet anywhere: the tablet can be used as a navigation device, virtual travel guide or other things.

In the course, participants will learn: What is Android (different versions); What requirements do you need to use the device correctly (Internet flat rate, WLAN, Google account, etc.); How to use the touchscreen correctly; Different interfaces/manufacturers; Making settings; Setting up a Google account, e-mail account and WLAN; What are apps and widgets; Customizing your own device (home screen, wallpaper, ringtone, etc.).

The course "Android tablet and smartphone - Part 1" will take place on Thursday, May 16, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and on Thursday, May 23, also from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Kniestedter Herrenhaus (Braunschweiger Str. 137a). The course costs 40 euros

Prerequisite: You must bring your own equipment.
