Beginner's course "Safe use of smartphones and/or tablets":

In this course, participants get to know their smartphone or tablet in practice. They will learn how to use their smartphone or tablet in simple steps.

How can you send and receive messages and pictures? What do participants need to look out for in the settings? How do you install and uninstall apps? How do you search for and find information and products on the internet? Help for self-help: How do you find a solution yourself? Which security settings are advisable?

This course is primarily geared towards the needs of the participants. The topics will be agreed together at the beginning. No previous knowledge is necessary, but some experience is helpful.

You will need to bring a ready-to-use and charged device and the charging cable.

The course starts on Thursday, February 15, 6 to 7.30 p.m. at the Volkshochschule Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a) and will continue on the following two Thursdays (February 22 and 29). The course costs 30 hrs.

Web seminar "Creating forms with Word and MS Form":

Content: Everyday working life has changed a lot in the office/back office. Shared work options - home office or presence and still teamwork. In order to meet the new requirements, you need plannable workflows. Forms help with this. You can quickly create them in Word. If surveys or quizzes are also required, then Microsoft Forms are needed. Participants will also get to know the program in an easy way and try it out.

The web seminar (vhs cloud) takes place in cooperation with the Volkshochschule Braunschweig, the Bildungszentrum Wolfenbüttel and the Volkshochschule Wolfsburg.

The web seminar will take place on Monday, February 19, and Monday, February 26, from 5 to 6.30 p.m. in the vhs cloud. The course costs 36 euros.
