The Salzgitter Music School is once again inviting you to four Christmas concerts this year.

The children's St. Nicholas concert on Friday, December 6 kicks things off. From 4 pm, a children's Christmas musical will be performed in the hall of the Alte Feuerwache in Lebenstedt (Wehrstraße27). There will be fresh waffles and atmospheric Christmas carols performed by children or to sing along to. The Förderverein café will be open from 3.30 pm.

The proceeds from the donations will be used to purchase a number of magic harps.

On Saturday, December 7, at 5 pm,a chamber music concert will take place in a festive atmosphere in the Fürstensaal at Salder Castle. The advanced pupils of the music school will be playing.

On Saturday, December 14, at 3 p.m. in the Martin Luther Church in Lebenstedt (Berliner Straße 182), delicate Christmas string sounds willbe heard under the title "Christmas Dream". The table harp ensembles, a harp ensemble and the women's vocal ensemble of the Peine district music school, the table harp ensemble of the Salzgitter music school and several soloists will perform a Christmas concert with wonderful string sounds. Admission costs 7.50 euros (including use of the special bus). Information about the concert as part of the city's senior citizens' events can be found in the city's calendar of events.

On Sunday, December 15, the music school's traditional Christmas concertbegins at 6 p.m. in the Kulturscheune in Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 22). With a mixed program of atmospheric sounds, the students of different age groups want to get their guests in the mood for the Christmas season. Among others, the jazz choir "Gentle Voices" and the "Chamber Orchestra" will perform excerpts from the current program. The Friends' Association, which actively supports the music school, will contribute to the Advent atmosphere of the evening with mulled wine, salted pretzels and snacks.

The Salzgitter music school team is looking forward to welcoming many guests. Admission to the concerts is free (with the exception of the table harp concert).
