Salzgitter

Stage set-up for the start of the Kultursommer

The big concerts of the Kultursommer Salzgitter start this weekend in the courtyard of the Salder Castle Municipal Museum in Salzgitter Salder.

Not much can yet be seen of the stage on which Versengold, Alex Christensen and Max Mutzke will be playing this weekend.

The stage is still under construction and not much can be seen of its final size. But on Friday, August 1, "Versengold" will rock the stage at 8 pm. The six folk rockers are a permanent fixture in German-language music. They will be stopping off in Salzgitter on their "Live" 2025 tour. The stage and the technology have to be in place by then. No problem for Annika Gudat-Hedel, one of the few female bosses in this area, who is in charge of setting up the stage. Together with her team, she ensures that the audience, when they enjoy the music at the Kultursommer concerts in the castle courtyard, don't notice how time-consuming it is to plan and set up a stage.

Incidentally, "Versengold" is not the only band performing this weekend. DJ icon and pop visionary Alex Christensen will be coming on Saturday, August 2, at 8 pm and invites his audience to an after-show party after his performance, where he will bring along some surprise guests to dance to the good music.
On Sunday, August 3, Max Mutzke and his band will take to the stage at 8 pm. There are still enough tickets available for all three concerts, which can be purchased at the box office.

Of course, that's not the end of the Kultursommer Salzgitter.
