Residents celebrating their 85th, 90th, 95th, 100th or higher birthday are - if desired - specially honored by the city administration through the local mayors. However, due to a system error in a specialist procedure for which the City of Salzgitter is not responsible, no evaluation of birthday celebrants can be carried out for the month of April.
