Salzgitter

Concert for a good cause

The teachers of the Salzgitter Music School invite you to a one-hour concert on Sunday, February 23, at 5 p.m. in the hall of the Alte Feuerwache in Lebenstedt (Wehrstraße 27).

Musical role reversal: the music school teachers are on stage while the pupils and other guests sit in the audience. "Our teachers are both dedicated educators and artistically active musicians who can often be heard in concerts," says Sabine Petter, Head of the municipal music school. The teachers have put together a varied program for this year's one-hour concert.

Guests can look forward to solo performances across all instrumental groups and performances by small ensembles. The concert program ranges from classical to pop. For example, there will be accordion, vocals, guitar, piano, flute, saxophone, percussion, violin and cello with works by Mauro Giuliani, Georg Friedrich Händel in an arrangement by Johan Halvorsen, Sergei Rachmaninov, John Williams, Astor Piazzolla and others.

The special feature: Admission is free. Donations for the Salzgitter Hospice Initiative are requested.
