New VHS course "What bird is that singing?"

The Volkshochschule (VHS) of the city of Salzgitter has free places on its new course "Which bird is that singing? And why?", which takes place on April 26.

The participants are out and about in the local countryside to learn about bird calls.

In this course, participants learn how to identify birds using an app and binoculars, learn more about bird language and about birds in ecosystems, the endangerment of bird species and their behavior.

Information:

The course "Which bird is that singing? And why?" takes place on Saturday, April 26, from 8.30 to 11.30 a.m. (meeting point: Lichtenberg, Burgberg parking lot) and costs 16.50 euros.

Participants should bring suitable clothing and footwear for the weather as well as their own food and drink.

Bring binoculars, if available; a suitable app should be downloaded (e.g. NABU Vogelapp or Merlin Bird ID).

Registration is required. The registration deadline is April 20.
