About the content: Tim Becker does stand-up comedy with puppets. Taboo-free and merciless, he develops puppet conversations with a high density of humor, unerring punchlines and recognizable quirks from the everyday lives of "completely" normal people.

His troupe tells stories that Tim has picked up in real life, focusing on the infectiously funny and quirky idiosyncrasies of the characters. He unerringly projects the characteristics, dialects or simply oddities onto his fluffy protagonists. The humor is anything but well-behaved, sometimes biting and incomparably funny. His puppetry is so convincing that the audience forget they are just watching a puppet.

Tim Becker has been presenting the art of ventriloquism with virtuoso skill for over 15 years. He never rests on his laurels, unless they can speak. Some of his puppets are now stars in their own right.

Guests can look forward to a unique puppet show.

Anyone interested is invited to this special semester opening. Admission is free of charge. A collection will be made at the end of the event.

The spring semester begins on February 1 with over 400 courses. The program can be downloaded from the Volkshochschule website (www.vhs-salzgitter). It is also available in the Volkshochschulen and in many public places.
