Within the city administration, the town hall, all external and ancillary offices, the municipal management company (SRB) and municipal employees in the job center are affected by the warning strike call.

The city administration offices will probably be open, but longer waiting times are to be expected.

The city library and all branches are closed.

According to the SRB, the warning strike in the public sector may result in the collection of yellow bags, the emptying of organic waste garbage cans or residual waste garbage cans and waste paper containers being canceled. Canceled collection dates will not be made up.

The SRB announced on 05.02.2025: "The winter service went according to plan this morning. Waste collection is also running as planned, except for emptying the paper garbage cans. We are unable to cover the paper rounds today due to striking staff and must ask citizens to take their waste paper to the recycling islands if necessary and then take advantage of the next household collection date."
