From Maundy Thursday, April 2, from 8 p.m. up to and including Easter Monday, April 6, Nord-Süd-Straße in Salzgitter-Watenstedt between Diebesstieg and Watenstedter Weg will be closed to through traffic.
The reason for this measure: the network operator Avacon is laying a new gas pipeline with a total length of 600 meters, which will cross Nord-Süd-Straße in the section between Diebesstieg and Watenstedter Weg. The work is being carried out by the company SLG Schöttle Leitungsbau from Salzgitter.
Important: Access from Diebestieg to the crossroads at the refugee accommodation, or to the premises of the Peine-Salzgitter public transport company (VPS), is still guaranteed.
