City Festival in Lebenstedt: Extensive Barriers

This year's City Festival, organized by the City Lebenstedt Merchants' Association, will take place from August 14 to 16 in downtown Lebenstedt. Safety measures: barriers and a ban on weapons.

To ensure the safety of visitors and exhibitors at the festival and to guarantee that the event runs smoothly, extensive road closures have been put in place in consultation with the City Lebenstedt Advertising Association (as the event organizer), the Salzgitter/Peine/Wolfenbüttel Police Precinct, the municipal fire department, and the City of Salzgitter, extensive road closures will be implemented, resulting in traffic restrictions during the event period.

The police department also notes that the police, the City of Salzgitter, the professional fire department, and City Lebenstedt are in close communication and regularly review the security plan, adjusting it as needed. The police will provide a police presence at the event and clearly emphasize the existing ban on weapons on the event grounds.

The City of Salzgitter asks residents, business owners, and visitors to downtown Lebenstedt for their understanding regarding the restrictive measures in place during this period.

The Closures
