The first draft for the new skate park near the ice rink will be presented on Wednesday, May 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Children and young people can ask questions and contribute further ideas.

After the first participation campaign in February, those present favored the so-called "street flow variant": a combination of street-style obstacles (rideable obstacles based on park benches, kerbs and other elements of urban development) and elements such as quarter pipes (rounded ramps that can be used both upwards and downwards). The aim is to offer future users a choice of different riding styles in the skate park.

Lennart Eickhoff from the Landskate planning office took this vote for the new project approved by the council. This draft will be presented at the second participation workshop on May 13, where children and young people will be able to discuss it. Further suggestions and ideas are welcome.
