That's because stars like Suzi Quatro Schiller, Max Giesinger, Kamrad, Christian Steiffen, and Apocalyptica will be performing in front of Salder Castle. Many of the concertgoers will be driving there in their own cars.

To make it as easy as possible for visitors to find parking given the expected high volume of traffic, and to ensure that traffic around the castle can flow without major disruptions, security personnel will direct arriving vehicles one by one to the appropriate parking areas.

To minimize traffic congestion, the streets “Hinter dem Knick” (starting at the intersection with Gerichtsweg) and “Teichkamp” will also be designated as one-way streets.

The event organizer, the City of Salzgitter, advises concertgoers—especially those familiar with the area—to use parking lots further away from the castle whenever possible, or to travel by bicycle or public transportation. The stop for KVG Braunschweig bus line 612 is located directly in front of the museum.

Parking is again available on the meadow behind the castle grounds along the Fuhse River, as well as on the grounds of the Braunschweig-Salzgitter district branch of the German Red Cross (DRK) and in the Möhlenhoff company parking lot. The organizer asks visitors to keep emergency routes—including those in the side streets—as well as the entrances and exits clear so that residents and employees parking there can leave the premises without difficulty.
