Participants learn about yoga and can do something good for their body and mind.
Participants discover the basics of hatha yoga together: simple physical exercises (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and short meditation sessions help participants to reduce stress, improve their flexibility and recharge their batteries. They learn to be mindful of themselves and to respect their own limits.
The course is suitable for all age groups and does not require any particular fitness level.

The "First introduction to yoga for beginners" course takes place at Kniestedter Herrenhaus, Braunschweiger Straße 137a, and runs from Monday, February 9 to May 18 (from 4 to 5.30 pm). The twelve sessions cost 90 euros.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket if necessary.
