Driver training for senior citizens: Fit in the car

On Monday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the City of Salzgitter's senior citizens' office and the Salzgitter traffic watch will be hosting a "Fit in the Car" driver training course.

At the Eissporthalle, Humboldtallee 50, in Lebenstedt, senior citizens aged 60 and over are given the opportunity to put their own skills behind the wheel to the test. During practical exercises, the participants learn whether they are still fit enough to react to all traffic situations when they are at the wheel of a vehicle and what they can still learn here. The practical part of the program is partly driven in a driving school car.

Participation costs 40 euros and is only possible after registration by calling 05341 / 1897107 (Verkehrswacht).

Further information is available from the municipal senior citizens' office by telephone on 05341 / 839-3257 or by e-mail spnstadt.salzgitterde
