As with many events in Salzgitter, there will also be a "Quiet Hour" here on August 15 and 16, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. each day.
What is the "Quiet Hour"?
This is a nationwide initiative designed to make daily life and participation in public life easier for people who are sensitive to sensory stimuli and people with autism. During this hour, the lights at the event are dimmed, and music and other noise sources are turned down or even turned off completely. This is intended to make it possible for people who are sensitive to sensory stimuli to attend events as well.
The city of Salzgitter supports the introduction of a “Quiet Hour” at events and thanks City Lebenstedt for implementing it.
