A DJ will set the right mood by playing the music genres requested by the teens. Visitors can also look forward to non-alcoholic cocktails, a variety of snacks, a photo booth, and other activities.
What makes this year special: In the run-up to the event, the teens had the opportunity to participate in the planning via a digital survey and vote on activities as well as the party’s theme.
The young people expressed the following wishes, which will be implemented:
- a photo booth, Polaroid camera
- popcorn, pizza slices, cookies, chips, fruit, and fruit gummies as snacks
- For music, the teens want German and English hip-hop and rap, rock and pop, and R&B and soul
- the game Werewolf
The new Youth Parliament is actively involved in the party and will be there in person. The young people will have the opportunity to talk with the members, ask questions, and share their own ideas or requests for Salzgitter.
The Forellenhof team, the Youth in the Community team, and the Youth and Democracy Education team are looking forward to welcoming many young people who want to celebrate the start of summer vacation together.
