A mobile version of the Salzgitter website (m.salzgitter.de) was launched back in January of this year in collaboration with the Tourist Information Office.
Now, with the change of the computer program in the Department for Ideas and Complaints, the next mobile application follows - an ideas and complaints app. Apps are small programs that can be installed on a smartphone. They are available for Android on Google Play and Apple in the App Store.
After starting the application, suggestions and grievances can be described in detail and a photo can be added. After "Send", the message is sent directly to the responsible department at the city of Salzgitter and can therefore be dealt with quickly.
Smartphone users can use the new mobile application to inform the administration of a defective street lamp, a hole in the road or a destroyed traffic sign on the spot.
Suggestions and complaints can of course also be sent to the city administration via the online form at www.salzgitter.de or reported by e-mail ideen-beschwerdenstadt.salzgitterde telephone 05341 / 839-3200 or 05341 / 839-3396 and fax 05341 / 839-4985.
The staff of the Department for Ideas and Complaints can be contacted in person at Salzgitter-Lebenstedt Town Hall, Joachim-Campe-Straße 6-8, 38226 Salzgitter, Atrium, first floor, Room 06, at the following times: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9 am to 12 pm and Thursday from 2 pm to 6 pm.
