The use of a road beyond public use (special use) requires a permit.

Please note:

• Every intended special use must be applied for in writing at least 10 working days before the intended start of the special use (see application).
• The application must be accompanied by a site plan showing the desired area for special use (except for posters).
• In the case of posters, a corresponding sample (maximum size DIN A 4) must be submitted.

Unauthorized special uses constitute an administrative offence under Section 61 of the Lower Saxony Road Act and are punishable by a fine.
