The processing time for a regular passport is usually 3 to 4 weeks. There are currently delays, so the processing time may be extended to 6 weeks.
If you need the passport sooner, you can apply for an express passport. The only difference is the shorter processing time of about 4 business days. The express passport is a fully valid document. There is an additional fee of 32 euros.
