Then you have to pay dog tax.
You must register your dog.

You can do this at city hall or your local municipality.
The city or municipality where you live.
You’ll then receive a dog license tag.
You must keep the tag.
And you must show the tag if anyone asks.

Guide dogs for the blind are often exempt from the tax.
But they do need a dog license tag.
It’s a small sticker.
The sticker indicates:
This dog is a guide dog.

Are you deregistering your dog? Then you must return the tag.

The tax liability begins on the first day of the month following the month in which a dog was taken into a household or business, or in which the dog owner moves in, but no earlier than the end of the month in which the dog turns 3 months old.
