If your address changes, you must also have your address changed on the chip of your eID card.

To change the address on the chip of your eID card, you must go to the citizens' office responsible for you at your main place of residence.

If you do not have a main residence, you can change your address by going to the relevant citizens' office in the place where you currently live.

Your address will only be changed on the chip of your eID card, as no address is printed on the card itself.

You must have your new address changed immediately on the chip of your eID card.

There is no statutory processing time.
