Section 12(1) of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG):
The operation of a prostitution establishment requires a license from the competent authority. The license may be granted for a limited period.
The license must be renewed upon application if the conditions required for its issuance continue to be met.

Section 12(2) of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG):
The license to operate a prostitution establishment is granted simultaneously for a specific operating concept and for specific structural facilities, installations, and the rooms located therein
