Apply for intensive individual socio-educational support

Description

Description

Intensive individual social-educational support promotes the integration of adolescents and young adults into society. It is a type of educational assistance service. Through supportive and guiding programs, the goal is to provide age-appropriate support in both school and extracurricular settings.

The young person is supported by an educational specialist over an extended period of time.

This support can take place at home, in the young person’s own apartment, or in a supervised group home.

The goal is for the educational specialist to prepare the young person for an independent and self-reliant life. The specialist helps the young person find friends or other trusted individuals who will continue to accompany and support them throughout their lives.

If the Youth Welfare Office determines that adolescents and young adults need this kind of help (have educational needs), they will receive this support from the Youth Welfare Office.
