If you hunt in Germany, you need a hunting license. There are different types available. In addition to the annual hunting license, which is valid for up to 3 years, and the youth hunting license, you can apply for a one-day hunting license.

The one-day hunting license is suitable for anyone who does not wish to hunt regularly. It is valid for 14 consecutive days within a hunting year.

The authority responsible for your place of residence issues the one-day hunting license.

• A copy of an ID card or passport
• Hunting license certificate
• A recent photograph
• Proof of statutory hunting liability insurance (an insurance premium invoice is not sufficient)

• Period of validity 14 days
  The day hunting license is valid for 14 consecutive days within a hunting year.
