As a researcher, you have a legal right to be granted a residence permit for the purpose of seeking employment. The residence permit will be granted to you for a maximum of 9 months immediately following the completion of your research activities. If you did not use the full duration of this maximum period when the permit was first issued, the residence permit may be extended accordingly. However, if you do not find a job during these 9 months, an extension is not possible, and you are required to leave the country. This residence permit allows you to work without restriction.
