Energy saving check on Tuesdays
On Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the Caritasverband Salzgitter e.V. offers an "energy consultation hour" with a focus on energy-saving checks.
The energy-saving check is free of charge and includes an initial consultation as well as on-site advice, an analysis of energy consumption and recommendations for action. Free energy-saving aids are also distributed to the households visited.
This is aimed at people with a low household income and people in receipt of transfer benefits such as citizen's allowance, basic income support, child supplement and the like.

Consultation hours are offered in Lebenstedt in the Citytorcenter:
Opening hours
Mondays: 10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm
Tuesdays: 10 a.m. to 12 noon ("energy consultation") and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ("Forms consultation")
Thursdays: 10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 7 pm ("Ehrenamtskarte recognition consultation")
Fridays: 10 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 7 pm
Many institutions and associations have already contacted the Volunteer Center because they would like to work with volunteers and cannot always find suitable people themselves.
