"Salzgitter Pass" - Information on the application

Those who only receive benefits from the Jobcenter or the City of Salzgitter after the cut-off date of October 1, 2018 can apply for the "Salzgitter Pass" retrospectively.

These mailboxes are located in the Jobcenter, in the Citizens' Center in Salzgitter-Bad and in Lebenstedt Town Hall. Applications for the Salzgitter Pass can be posted there.

Application procedure:

    • Anyone who receives their benefits from the Social Services and Senior Citizens Department of the City of Salzgitter can submit the application to their case worker. The "Salzgitter Pass" will be issued immediately upon application if the requirements are met.
    • Anyone who receives benefits from the Salzgitter Jobcenter will receive an application form with their grant notification. The completed and signed application form must be placed in the "mailbox" set up at the Jobcenter especially for this purpose. The "Salzgitter passports" are then issued and sent by the City of Salzgitter.

In addition, marked letterboxes for the applications will also be set up in the Citizens' Center in Salzgitter-Bad and in the town hall in Lebenstedt in order to make it easier for applicants to find their way and to reduce waiting times.
