The plot:

Yoko is a wanted murderer on the run. Under a new identity, she lives as John on a small Greek island and works in a restaurant high above the sea. She has made friends and found peace. Yoko is the past. John is the future. But: John is exposed. The hunt begins.

To the author:

Bernhard Aichner (1972) lives in Innsbruck and southern Burgenland. He wrote several radio plays and novels before celebrating his international breakthrough as an author in 2014 with his thriller "Totenfrau". His books have been translated into 16 languages and the "Totenfrau" trilogy has been filmed by Netflix and ORF.
