Candidates can be nominated for the award again this year.

The prize serves to honor outstanding achievements, but also small everyday things that help to promote integration in Salzgitter and are of fundamental importance to the city. The prize can be awarded to individuals or groups of individuals, but also to associations that have distinguished themselves through such commitment.

Every citizen has the opportunity to submit suggestions for potential award winners to the city's Social Planning and Integration Department or the Citizens' Service for Migrants, or to apply themselves. An independent jury then decides on the awarding of the "Bunte Sole".

An independent jury will decide on the winner of the "Bunte Sole", but the winner will not be revealed until the event on October 4.

Before the "Bunte Sole" award ceremony takes place on the stage of the Aula Fredenberg, guests can look forward to a varied and colorful program of entertainment, cabaret, music and entertainment.
